George A Capp, 86, of 13910 W 90th Drive, Lenexa, died today at a nursing home at 9700 W 62nd.
He was born in Chicago and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr Capp worked at the National Veterans of Foreign Wars headquarters twenty-six years and retired as the manager of the VFW's emblems and supplies department in 1966. He was a member of the Lenexa United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War I, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post Number 111, the World War I veterans and the Rainbow Division veterans.
He leaves his wife, Mrs Edith C Capp of the home.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 pm Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
