Willadeen C. Engelke, 86, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at the funeral home.

Willadeen was born in Golthwaite, Texas, to the late Tom and Leta (Halbrook) Hale.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Engelke; son, Donald Earley; two sisters; and two brothers.

Those left behind to cherish Willadeen's memory are her sons, Tom Earley and John Engelke Sr.; daughters, Debra Engelke and Melisa Wiley; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Deola Easley; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way where I am going."
