The name(s) of John's wife is unknown. According to his probate in 1835 his wife was Sarah. Sarah was born 1791-1800. Too young to be the Mother of all his children. After John's death she has in her household John, Andrew, Hiram and Lavicy. Hopefully someday DNA can trace the heritage of the Mothers. I believe she is the mother of these children plus Matilda who had just married Thomas David. The rest of the children from a first wife.
