Bettie was born November 19, 1920 in Thurston, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ola England; her first husband, Cloyd McIntyre, husband, Walter Kaumeyer; and her sister, Maxene Hamilton.
She is survived by her sons, Douglas J. McIntyre (Nancy) of West Virginia, Craig McIntyre )Connie) of Texas; grandchildren, Jefferey McIntyre (Angelia), Cameron McIntyre, Erin Threat (George), Jonathan McIntyre; and great grandchildren, McIntyre and Drennen.
Bettie was a life-long resident of Fairfield County. She was always very proud of Fairfield County, Lancaster and the state of Ohio. She worked many and various secretarial jobs in Lancaster and Columbus, Ohio to see that her sons received good educations.
She spent many hours volunteering at Fairfield Medical Center, and was a docent for the Sherman House. Bettie was blessed to have many wonderful friends that she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank the staff of Main Street Terrace, FairHoPe Hospice and her very close friends who lovingly cared for Bettie during her final weeks.
Dignity Cremation services are by the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster, Ohio and graveside services will be held at Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio at the convenience of the family.
In memory of Bettie donations may be made to FairHoPe Hospice or the First United Methodist Church.
