Charles Beal Sr. died at2:40 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs Florence Tate on the Tolle Roead, with whom he made his home. He was 86 years eight months, and 18 days old.

Mr. Beal was born Mar. 14, 1878 in Field Township, the son of the Rev. E. M. and Belle (Smith) Beal.

On Mar 30, 1899, he was married to Effie May Sechrest, who preceded him in death on June 29, 1913 On Dec 30, 1918 he married Etta Elizabeth Corriell, who preceded him in death on Jan 20, 1950. He was also preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, two grandchildren, and four brothers,.

Survivors include four sons , Frank Beal, Rev Roy Beal,Homer Beal and Henry (Bill) Beal; two daughters Mrs Flossie Tate, Mrs Florence Tate; two brothers R. L. Beal, Joe Beal;three sisters Mrs Lou Van Allen, Mrs Maude Claybourne and Mrs Julia Tate; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; four step-great-grandchildren.
