Mrs. Kirk died Sunday, Feb. 13, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 18, 1952, in Slaton to Van Thomas and Katherine Koenig Henson. She married Joe Glenn Kirk Sr. on Dec. 31, 1969. She was self-employed in the resale industry.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Joe Glenn Kirk of Rockdale; two daughters, Angel Rene LaFever of Cameron and Laurie Kay Beasley of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a brother, Whitey W. Grimes of Cameron; a sister, Linda Kay Schwerin of Mich.; two stepbrothers, Don Allen Taylor of Houston and Bobby Dean Taylor of Cameron; her mother and stepfather, Bob Taylor of Cameron; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
