Mrs. Knobloch, 87, of Alexandria died Thursday, April 1, 1999, inAlexandria. She was a native of Thibodaux and former school teacher at Our Lady of Prompt Succor School from 1949 until 1969. She was a member of Prompt Succor Altar Society and a volunteer for RSVP and Rapides Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Cheek of Alexandria; one son, Ernest John Knobloch Jr. of Gretna; three sisters, Sister Mary Edward Romagosa and Sister Marie de Lourdes Romagosa, both of New Orleans, and Elaine Forrest of Gretna; one brother, the Rev. Edward Romagosa, S.J. of Convent; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
