My g grandmother, Sarah Francis Young was the daughter of Harriet Ralls and James Young Jr. James Young was born in 1836 in Morgan Cty, Alabama and he married Harriet Ralls likely in Polk County, Arkansas. He was in the Civil War and died as a prisoner of war from small pox in a hospital in Petersburg, Virginia where he is buried. It is likely that Sarah FRANCIS never saw or knew her father since he died in 1863 and had been a pow at Ft. Douglas , Illinois.
