Age 84
Helen was married for 61 years to William J. Bensenhaver
daughter of Eldric H and Ida Mather Goodreau.
She was a 1943 graduate of Middletown High and a 1946 graduate of the Ona Wilcox School of Nursing, and served in area hospitals and nursing facilities for over 30 years before retiring for health reasons.
Helen was an enthusiastic bird-watcher, and an avid gardener and reader. She also greatly enjoyed walking, well into her later years.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Bloomfield Health Care Center for their kind and diligent care of Mrs. Bensenhaver in her final days.
