ABERDEEN - Willie G. Chandler died Friday at the Aberdeen/Monroe county Hospital. He was a member of New Hebron M. B. Church and a former employee of Walker Manufacturing Company.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Hebron M. B.Church with Rev. M. D. Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Jackson Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his parents, Luther Chandler and Maggie Walker Chandler of Aberdeen; six daughter of Aberdeen; six daughters,Vanessa Chandler, Sandra Haynes, Marion Chandler, Connie Gardner, Elois Gardner and Tam Johnson, all of Aberdeen; two sons, Rodrick and Tony Chandler, both of Aberdeen; five sisters,Clara Landon of West Point, Wilma Franklin of Milwaukee, Wisc.,Teresa Anderson, Velma Hodges and Robbie Fields, all of Aberdeen;eight brothers Luther Chandler,James Chandler, Clarence Chandler, Bobby Chandler, Edmond Chandler, Larry Chandler, Bruce Chandler, all of Aberdeen and Aundrie Chandler of the U. S. Navy.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the services.
