Steven Keith Miller is the son of Keith Arleigh Miller and Carol Jean Miller (nee Fox) 1942-1969.

Steven K. Miller, 41, of 312 W. Fifth St, died Friday June 20, 2008, at Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Jamestown, N.Y. on Jan. 25, 1967, the son of Keith A. Miller and the late Carol (Fox) Miller.
Steven was a graduate of Panama Central School, class of 1985. He also received an associates in science-engineering science degree from Jamestown Community College in 1990 and an associate in arts-social Sciences degree in 1991. After attending classes at Pitt-Bradford, he attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he received a bahelors of science degree in engineering in 2001. He also attended the University of Oregon. Steven was a former member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. He had most recently worked as a volunteer at the WCA Hospital.
Steven played varsity football in high school, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Other interests included designing homemade rockets, karate, woodworking, and scuba diving. He was a fan of Pink Floyd and the 10,000 Maniacs.
Besides his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Cindy Phillips Miller; a stepbrother, Scott Canaan (Jeannine) of Pifford, N.Y.; his aunt, Joan Fox Okerlund; and several step uncles and aunts.
In addition to his mother who died on Aug. 2, 1969, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Karen Backus Canaan Miller who died on March 29, 1997; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Betty Fox; his paternal grandparents, William and DeLena Miller, and stepgrandparents; Gene and Lillian Backus.
The funeral will be held on Monday, June 23 at the Lind Funeral Home in Jamestown. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. with the service immediately following at 7 p.m. The Rev. Stephen J. Wiggers, pastor of Panama United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
