Marteley McCloud Wilson Goodman,
84, of Route 1, Winfield, passed away Saturday evening, January 10, at the Harriman Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late George Washington McCloud and the late Sarah Catherine Abston McCloud and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Vall Wilson and 16 children. She was a member of the Faith of God Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James Goodman of Route 1, Winfield; three daughters: Mrs. Hoyle Goodman of Route 1, Winfield, Mrs. Marley Sexton of Oneida, and Mrs. D. T. Jeffers of Route 1, Huntsville; one son, Danie Wilson of Route 1, Helenwood; two sisters: Mrs. William Byrge and Mrs. Mark Byrge, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers: Alonzo McCloud of Salt Lake City, Utah, and E. L. McCloud of Jamestown; 32 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 13, at the Faith of God Baptist Church, with Rev. Carl Strunk and Rev. Louis Terry officiating. The Segal Phillips Family sang. Burial followed in the Keeton Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Johnny Blevins, Herman Blevins, David Smith, Manuel Strunk, Virgil Jeffers, and Sherman Reagan. West-Murley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
