Delavan Woman Dies Sunday

Mrs. Cyril T Reynolds, 77, mother of Mrs. Mike Espeland of Winnebago, died Sunday in a Worthington rest home where she had lived since last spring. She had lived most of her life at Delavan.

Final rites were held Wednesday in the Delavan Baptist church, the Rev. Glenn Campbell officiating. Interment was in Bass Lake cemetery. Pall bearers were Robert Gibb, Alvin Heppner, Herbert Jenkins, Robert Perrizo, Fred Sorenson and Mike Garry. Musicians were Mrs. Frank Claude, Mrs. Glen Campbell and Mrs. Marvin Claude.

The former Ida May Leach was born Jan. 10, 1879, in Vinton, IA, where she grew up. She was married to Cyril Reynolds in 1900. The couple set up their home in Delavan where he managed a grain elevator for many years. He passed away several years ago.

Six children survive. Besides Mrs. Espeland, there are: Mrs. J. B. Davidson, LeCenter; Mrs. Sylvia Pieper, Worthington; Floyd, Minneapolis; Harlan, Fairmont; and Mrs. C. E. Holst, Washington, D.C.

Two brothers, Jack Leach of Winnebago, and James Leach, Glendive, Mont., and a sister, Mrs. Fred Voss of Fremont, IA, also remain. There are 14 grandchildren.
