LILLIAN "LALLA" SIEKER

Miss Lillian C. Sieker, 77, former Manitowoc resident and a retired principal in the Milwaukee school system died Sunday in Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at Philip J. Weiss Inc., Funeral Home, 1901 N. Farwell at E. Kane Place, Milwaukee and burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Miss Sieker was born in Manitowoc, 1883, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Croll Sieker, after entering the education field she accepted work in Milwaukee. She taught for 43 years in the 31st Street School at Whitefish Bay, where she subsequently became the school principal. She retired in June 1953, and was honored in a ceremony by the Whitefish Bay Parent Teachers Assn.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lee Alberts, of Chicago and a number of nieces and nephews, including some at Manitowoc. An aunt, Mrs. William Croll, of Manitowoc also survives.
