Roland V. Hawks, 84, a resident of Gladwin county for many years, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, after several weeks illness.
Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. William Elliott, of St. Paul's Episcopal church, officiating. Burial was made in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Hawks was born on August 2, 1869, in Kinmundy, Illinois, and came to Gladwin in 1908. He was not married and there are no survivors. Gladwin County Record dated 3-3/1954
