Mrs. Esther Rose Dillon Dressback, daughter of John and Catherine Dillon, was born March 4,1872, in Glynwood, Auglaize, Co., Ohio; and departed this life October 23,1962 at the age of 90 years, 7 months, and 19 days.
She was united in marriage to Elza B Dressback on Aug 7, 1893.
He preceded her in death in 1957.
To this union were born 9 children, two of whom preceded her in death. They were Mrs Ida Neeley and Thomas Dressback.
In departing she leaves the following: 3 daughters: Catherine Eveland of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Agnes Biggs of Danville, Illinois; Mary Newsome of Oblong, Illinois; 4 sons: Ferd and Sam Dressback of Oblong, Illinois; John Dressback of Agua Dulce, Texas; Ira Dressback of Robinson, Illinois.; 2 sisters: Mrs Anna Tohle and Mrs Clara Shelley, Lima, Ohio. Besides these, she leaves 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
She was a good mother, and thought she never identified herself with any denomination, she expressed herself as being ready to meet her Lord. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
