Married Agatha Boudreaux 1922. They have three daughters Helen, Carolyn and Shirley.
OBITUARY:
CARROLL DESMOND LEE, 86, passed away Friday, June 2, 1989, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ft. Smith, Ark, August 6, 1902 and moved to El Paso in 1907. He graduated from El Paso High School. He married Agatha Boudreaux in 1922. Mr Lee was district manager of Texas Employers insurance association before founding C.D.Lee Insurance Agency in September 1938, he retired in 1987. Throughout his life he was active in civic affairs having been a member of the El Paso Downtown Lions Club, a Director of the first Sun Carnival Association. He was an accomplished amateur golfer and was a member of the El Paso Country Club for almost 60 years. He was a member of Trinity First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Agatha, Three daughter, Mrs. Herb (Helen) Phifer, Mrs. Louis (Carolyn) Scott and Shirley Jean McKee, all of El Paso, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery, Rev. Andy McGown officiating. Mr Lee will lie in state Sunday from 12:00 noon until 9:30 PM at Martin Funeral Home. Directed by Martin 3839 Montana.
