George Summerhill Died of a kidney infection. He was at the V.A. Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was in WW2 on an aircraft carrier USS Princeton. His ship's engines were hit and the ship was dead in the water while still under attack. The crew left the ship and on to another. Then the Navy sunk the Princeton so the enemy could not get access to it. George W. Summerhill later in life went on to marry Ferese Carlson in Jacksonville, Fl. Over the years they adopted 3 children. George went to Duke University where he got is PHD in Econimics and Harvard Buisness School where he got is PHD in Buisness Administration. He is also recognized in "Who's Who in Buisness" and "Who's Who in America." George W. Summerhill also appeared on talk shows for television and radio because of the acknowledgement of his expertise in the buisness and economics field. His wife died 4 years before he did. His wife was cremated and was placed in George's casket and they were burried together. George and his wife are survived by their 3 children. The oldest is Susan, then John, and Matthew as the youngest.
