Robert Lloyd Richardson (Bob) was born April 9, 1930 at Gilliam, MO and died at his home located in Crawford, NE at the age of 59. He was son of Margaret Elizabeth Harrison and King Lloyd Richardson. He moved to western Nebraska at a very young age with his mother and sister. Attended many small country schools where his mother was a teacher.

Bob attended high school at Chadron Assumption Catholic Academy and shortly after graduation joined the Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Destroyer Porter-field and was assigned to the Pacific Fleet.

After military service he returned to western Nebraska and took over the family ranch. In January of 1959 he married Lillian (Babe) Brown from Scottsbluff, NE. To the union three sons were born, Don, Marvin, & Bob.

Bob was also employed with Burlington Northern Railroad as a heavy equipment operator and for Dawes and Sioux county and an equipment operator. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, and the Eagles.
