Michael Paul Kucharczyk, age 39 years, of Port Hope, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center of Saginaw.
He was born on November 24, 1969 in Harbor Beach to Lylan (Swartz) Kucharczyk and the late Albert Kucharczyk. Mike and Annette Coulter were united in marriage on August 19, 2000.
Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, canning and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Annette of Port Hope, their children: Amanda Brock and her husband Kevin of Florida, Noel Kucharczyk of Port Hope and Adam Kucharczyk of Port Hope, his mother Lylan Kucharczyk of Harbor Beach, and his brothers and sisters: Debbie Bender and her husband Elmer of Harbor Beach, James H. Kucharczyk and his wife Darlene of Harbor Beach, Douglas Kucharczyk and his wife Evonne of Gagetown, Kathy Guitar and her husband Laverne of Harbor Beach, and Sherry Christian and her husband Steve of Harbor Beach, and several nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his father Albert Kucharczyk.
Visitation for Mike was held on Sunday, July 26 from 1 until 9 pm in the Ramsey Funeral Home, of Harbor Beach, and on Monday, in the church beginning at 11 am until time of services at 1 pm. A Parish Vigil Service took place on Sunday at 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
Funeral Mass for Mike was prayed on Monday, July 27 at 1 pm in the Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church of Harbor Beach, with Fr. William Spencer officiating.
Burial was conducted in the church cemetery.
