Blanche M. McLaughlin married George William Samuel Day in Jennings County, Indiana, on 13 August, 1910. Blanche was so young at the time that her mother, Mary K. (Grubbs) McLaughlin had to "sign" for her to get married. Blanche and George would divorce about 1913, but were married a second time, on 23 October, 1916, again in Jennings County, Indiana (Marriage Book 12, Page# 338).
