HEART AILMENT KILLS
JOSEPH M. CARROLL
Joseph M. Carroll, 47, of 104 East Church Street, a resident of Carlsbad for 10 years, died early yesterday in a hospital.
A physician said death presumably was caused by a heart attack.
He was found ill on the South Highway early yesterday and died a few minutes after being taken to the hospital.
Mr. Carroll, a plumber, is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Carroll; a daughter, Margaret Jean; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Tarrant of Greenville, Tex., and a brother, George Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the West Chapel, with the Rev. J.T. Barbee, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Carlsbad Cemetery.
