Bernard R. Boland, 83, of Syracuse, died at home on May 8, 2004. He was a truck driver and worked as an accountant for Pacific Transportation Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1977. He was also a member of the VFW Post 9596 of Collamer and an avid golfer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. His wife Doris died in 1992.
Survivors: daughter, Denise (Frank) Racciatti of Syracuse; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Forani & Cline Funeral Home, E. Syracuse, and 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial in Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
