Mr. Walker was born in Booneville, Miss., and came to China Spring 35 years ago. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p. m. at China Spring Baptist Church. Rev. Earl Vanderford and Rev. Don Richey will officiate with burial in China Spring cemetery.
Survivors include his widow; four sons, Willie Claude Walker of 3117 Lasker Avenue, V. Earl Walker of Irving, O. D. Walker of China Spring and J. W. Walker, Jr. of 3805 Windsor Avenue; a daughter, Mrs. Mattie Pearl Brock of Longview; and a half-brother, W. E. Walker of Booneville, Miss.
