James Patrick Connelly was born August 3, 1903, a son to John & Cora Mae Miller Connelly. He married Gladys Albert Phelps April 25, 1925 in Salt Lake city. They were parents of 2 girls Merle Connelly stillborn (sic - death cert indicates she lived 12 hours), and Sharon Kay Connelly. He was an employee for Rio Grande Railroad, Bennetts, Central Jr. High School, and Mode Oday Co. He was a member of the LDS Church, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and a Veteran of WII. He was also a wonderful Auto Mechanic. His wife Gladys died March 5, 1950. He died January 5,1971 at his home of natural causes. He is buried in the Midvale City Cemetery
