Obituary - Coshocton Age unknown date - copy
Butler, - At their home in Roscoe, January 3, 1899, Mrs. Carrie Butler, wife of Alvin Butler, aged 38 years. She was in her usual health, until ten minuets before death, when she was seized with a violent attack of heart trouble and her life went out very suddenly. She leaves a husband and seven children. The family moved to Roscoe from Killbuck about a year ago. Remains will be interred today at Killbuck.
Personal Note: I have always seen her middle initial as E, however in daughter Virginia's obituary it state Carrie June Butler as mother. Mark Blosser - Jan 2009
