Mrs. Stagen was born Sep 2, 1885 near Farmer City a d/o James A. and Alfretta Newberry Hall. She married Henry Nicholas Stagen on Jan 20, 1901. He died Nov 20, 1947. Surviving are three sons: Albert R. of Paxton; Ralph and Carl both of Farmer City; two daughters: Wanda (George) Tiemann of Rancho Bernardo, San Diego CA and Mildred (Dean) Holman, Farmer City; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bertha Swearingen of Milwaukee.
