Mrs. Marjorie Lucille (Oldham) Blackshear, 85 of Rockwall, TX, formerly of Lake City, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the family residence.

Marjorie was born in Portia, AR, on May 19, 1925, and attended school in Arbor Grove.

Her parents, Loma Goad Oldham and Thomas Henry Oldham were from Lawrence County, AR. Marjorie was the seventh of nine children.

She is survived by two remaining sisters and one brother, Armolee Garner of Paragould, AR, and Beuna Manthey of West Memphis, AR and Elvis Oldham of Sioux Falls, SD.

Marjorie married Lehman Dwight Blackshear on August 21, 1942 in Lawrence County, Ark.

She was a cosmetologist and housewife. Marjorie and Lehman were both, active and long- time members of the First Baptist Church of Springdale, AR. Marjorie was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed decorating her home and creating items for her family. She was a wonderful neighbor and loved gardening and canning with her neice, Kay Oliver, and shared the fruits of her labor with many.

Marjorie was a loving and devoted Christian mother and grandmother. She survived by her daughter, Alice Louise Blackshear She is also survived by a host of other loving family members and friends.

Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
