Henry (Enrico) Paul (Ippolito) Savaglio

Racine - Henry Savaglio, 92, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Friday, February 6, 1998.

Mr. Savaglio was born in Cosenza, Italy on April 17, 1905, Enrico Ippolito Savaglio son of the late Filiberto and Theresa (Valdez) Savaglio. On May 4, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, Henry was united in marriage to Avis R. Flisram.

Henry was a lifetime member of Holy Name Catholic Church. He owned and operated the Lake Park Barber Shop for 56 years in Lake Park until his retirement in 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Avis; three sons, Vincent Savaglio of Racine, Wisc., Lucius (Patrice) Savaglio of Chicago, Ill., and Richard (Sharon) Savaglio of Connecticut; eight grandchildren; a brother, Richard (Julia) Savaglio of Kenosha, Wisc.; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church, 1503 Grand Avenue, on Tuesday, February 10, 1998, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Edward A Vogel officiating. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum.
