Mrs. Black was born in Indian Territory, Oklahoma on April 24, 1905, and died in a Bakersfield hospital Wednesday morning August 27, 1986.
Mrs. Black had lived in the Taft and Buttonwillow area for the last 40 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her survivors include her three sons, her daughter, her brother, her five sisters, and her several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Those who wish may call at the Erickson & Brown Funeral Home on Friday until 8:30 p.m. to pay their respects.
