A sister Dorothy Lucille Candler McCoy buried Troy Mills. Her father died November 12, 1931 in Linn County age 50 years and 20 days. Born May 19, 1916, at Coggon, she was a Cedar Rapids resident until moving to Chicago in 1938. She moved to Coal Valley in 1972. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Violet (Lucio) Sanchez of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Burdette Stone of Manchester, Mrs. Minnie Bartow of Prospect City, California, Mrs. Hazel Wiskus of Carthage, Mississippi, Mrs. Dorothy McCoy of Independence, and Mrs. Joann Scarborough of Spendora, Texas. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursay at Kuba Funeral Home East by the Rev. Louis J. Trzil of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. Burial: Troy Mills Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
