Mundelein -- Mrs. Carrie I. Porteous, 93, of 126 Maple St., died last night at the Lake County General Hospital in Waukegan.
Mrs. Porteous, who was born Oct 5, 1868, in Wauconda, had lived in Mundelein for the past 68 years.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Violet [Morris] Chandler of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Mildred [Frank] Druba of Mundelein; a son, Carroll [Edna] of Mundelein; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.....Burnett and Kristan Funeral Home, Lake St. Mundelein, Burial will be in Ivanhoe Cemetery.
