TERRE HAUTE — Cynthia Lynn (Nidey) Chenoweth, 46, of Terre Haute, passed on Dec. 5, 2010, from aggressive inflammatory breast cancer. Born Aug. 30, 1964, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of David William "Bill" Nidey and Beverly A. (Harvey) Nidey. She married Wayne Chenoweth and he survives.

Cynthia was a 1982 graduate of Terre Haute North High School and also received a certificate in 1984 from Ivy Tech as an EMT. She served in the U.S. Air Force stationed at the Norton Air Force Base in San Bernadino, Calif. She worked at the Staples Distribution Center for 10 years in Terre Haute. She was a member of the Wabash Valley Motorcycle Club for many years. She enjoyed rides and a trip to Sturgis, South Dakota with 14 members of the group this year.

Survivors include the love of her life, husband Wayne E. Chenoweth; his two sons, Christopher and Zachary Chenoweth; a sister, Debra McNabb and husband Mike; their two sons, Ryan and Eric Bennett; a brother, Rick Nidey and his daughter, Autumn Nidey; special friend and mother-in-law, Barbara Chenoweth and her children, Annetta Chenoweth, Lori Peters, Brian Chenoweth, Lisa Akers and husband Jeff, Kristen Justice, their children and grandchildren; and not to be forgotten her pet of 13 years, Spike Allen.

She was preceded by her parents; a brother, Keith A. Nidey; and a father-in-law, Dale Chenoweth.

Cremation is scheduled and a memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday Dec. 13th at the Roselawn Funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Romanyk will be officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations of dog food may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Shelter or donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
