Mrs. Amelia Wendt, 83, a former resident of this community, passed away unexpectedly Sunday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bousey in Kankakee. a heart attack was the cause of her death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the St. Paul Lutheran church. Rev. M. Koen officiated.
Deceased was well and favorably known here. Besides the daughter, Mrs. Bousey, she is survived by two sons, Chas. of Clifton, and Paul of Bourbonnais. She also leaves two sister and thirteen grandchildren. Her husband, Carl, died in 1915.
