Dolores J. Horning, 83, of 1061 Burd Hollow Road, Port Royal, died at 6:55 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at the Golden Living Center-William Penn.
Born Sept. 14, 1927, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Earl F. Crago Sr. and Mildred (Mayes) Crago.
She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Horning Jr., whom she married on July 23, 1945.
Dolores is survived by her sons, Benjamin E. Horning and wife Jeanne, of Lewistown and Walter L. Horning III and wife Louise, of Millerstown; 4 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl F. Crago Jr. and Benjamin C. Crago and her sister, Mae S. Ulsh.
She was a homemaker and a Protestant by faith.
Her funeral service were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main Street with the Rev. Karen McCachren officiating. Interment was in Juniata Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service, Monday, at the funeral home.
