HARRY G. WEBSTER

Services will be held Friday for Harry G. Webster, who passed away October 20, 2004, in Eureka, at the age of 92. He was a resident of Eureka.

Born October 18, 1912, in Salisbury, NH, Harry came with his family to California and Humboldt County in 1926, where they made their home in the Scotia/Rio Dell area. Harry graduated from Fortuna Union High School in 1931. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked in the Lumber Industry for 32 years, retiring from the Pacific Lumber Company as Millwright.

He is survived by his daughter, Josephine Edwards of Fortuna. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his close friend, Rebecca Bair Kurwitz of McKinleyville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Webster, in 2001.

Friends are invited to attend graveside services Friday, October 29, 2004, at 11 a.m., at Sunrise Cemetery, Fortuna, with Pastor Bob Brazie officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gable’s Chapel Fortuna.
