From the Fredonia Censor on Feb. 6, 1889. A new family monument is being erected in our village cemetery in the memory of our esteemed townsman and his family.
From his brother Williams obit in 1910 I "t seems but a few years ago that the prominent and familiar figures of our town were Dr Thomas Phillips, Willison Phillips and Charles Phillips, his brothers , all passed away but still living in the hearts of the people, as will the one just laid to rest. "
