Amy Ogilvie married Houston McClure in Williamson County, TN on July 20, 1814, and they appear there on the 1820 U.S. Census. They do not appear on the 1830 census of the county, but in 1837, Houston and Amy McClure received a land grant of 640 acres in the Republic of Texas. They moved west and settled in Nacogdoches County. Houston McClure died there on August 25, 1839. Amy continue to reside in Texas and died there on May 14, 1863. - "Ogilvie Kith and Kin" Vol. 2, No. 4, June, 1984
