COLUMBIA — Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel A. Brown, 79, of Columbia, were at 2 p.m. today at Riser and Son Funeral Home here with the Rev. Nathan Henderson officiating.

Burial was to be in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.

Mrs. Brown died Monday at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Clayton Oliveaux of Columbia; one son, James V. Brown of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Bell Cox of Hornbeck and Mrs. Naomi Willis of Saginoa, Tex.; two brothers, Jesse Arnold and Alcie Arnold, both of Crowville; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
