ernard A. Fronk, 85, 1800 Jefferson Street, Two Rivers, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 9, 2011, at the Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers.



Bernie was born May 20, 1925, in the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, son of the late William J. and Anna (Zahorik) Fronk. He graduated from East De Pere High School with the Class of 1944. On May 27, 1947, Bernie married Elizabeth (Betty) Reidy at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove. He was born and raised on the family farm where he lived for 22 years. Bernie worked at Invincible Metal for five years and then was employed for 34 years at Hamilton Manufacturing. He was also a proud owner and operator of Fronk's Antenna Sales and Service with his brother, Dick. Bernie was an active member of St. Luke Catholic Church, serving as usher and singing in the choir. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Bernie was also a member of the Hamilton Retired Senior Club and the Two Rivers Senior Center.

Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) and Kip Behrendt, De Pere; Mary Ann and John Penglase, Milwaukee; Barbara and Douglas Reamer, Brookfield; Julie and Pat Deprey, De Pere; Ann and Keith Kaufmann, Green Bay; grandchildren, Brandon and Scott Behrendt, John and Tom Penglase, Mary Kate and Charlie Reamer, Katie Deprey, Lizzie and (Murphy) O'Hearn, Anna Deprey, Bethany, Marie, Emily and Shannon Kaufmann; one great-granddaughter, Sophie Heimbecher; one brother, Stanley Fronk, Two Rivers; one sister, Grace Fronk, Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law, Donald Thorne, Francis Creek; Patrick Reidy, Middleton; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Reidy, Brillion; Margaret Clumpner, East Hazelcrest, Ill. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Bernie was preceded in death by one son, Jeremiah (Jerry) Fronk; two brothers, an infant brother, Eugene Fronk and Richard Fronk; one sister, Carol Thorne; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Beatrice Fronk, Francis and Rosemary Curran, Jerome Reidy, Charles Reidy, Martin Reidy, Hildegard (Peggy) Reidy, Anastasia and Raymond Stedl, Howard Clumpner; and infant sister-in-law, Claire Reidy.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Tisch Mills.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday evening, Feb. 11, 2011, at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 5 until 7 p.m. when a prayer service will conclude the evening at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning, Feb. 12, 2011, at St. Peter the Fisherman Church from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.

Dad was the one who made sure we had everything we needed, most of what we wanted and, always, all of his love. Everything he did, he did for us.
