Dennis Fowler
Dennis Lynn Fowler age, 58, passed away at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma Feb. 10, 2011.
Dennis was born Jan. 24, 1953 to Laveral and Barbara Beus Fowler in Boise, Idaho. He was reared and educated in Nampa, Idaho. He served 4 years in the US Army in Germany and in the United States at Fort Collins and Colorado Spring's Army Base, two daughters from a previous marriage were born during this time, Moriah in 1974 and after his discharge Melissa Fowler was born in 1977. He worked as pit crew at Meridian Speedway. He was working on oil rigs in Anadarko, Oklahoma when he said the best luck he ever had in life was finding Vanda. He married Vanda Poindexter on December 31st 1983. This added Felicia, Susan, and T.J. (Timothy John) Fowler to the family and later Dennis Lynn Fowler Jr. completed their family in 1985. Dennis was a hard working provider to his family often working two jobs at the same time. He worked at a body and fender job and for the Cato Oil and Grease Co., Metro Transit Bus, delivered the Daily Oklahoman Newspaper and worked at a candy factory. They lived in Del City, Mustang and Yukon, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Vanda Fowler of Yukon, and his children, Moriah Abreu of Garden City, Idaho, Melissa Riepma of Nampa, Idaho, Felicia Renzelman of Mustang, Susan Fowler of Midwest City, T.J. Fowler of Mustang and Dennis Fowler Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK. his mother Barbara Fowler of Nampa, Idaho, a brother Dan Fowler of Weiser, Idaho and a sister Colleen Goss of Bremen, Georgia, and 11 grandchildren.
Our sweetest memory of him was holding the "newly hatched" new born grandchild and how he just beamed. He was preceded in death by his father Laveral Fowler. We will miss his sense of humor his infectious laugh and his smile. He contributed greatly to all our lives and we will miss him.

Dennis' ashes were scattered on his fathers grave at Nampa Idaho and at Warm Lake in Idaho and also with Vanda's father Ben Watie Poindexter in the Marble City Cemetery, where a headstone for Dennis and Vanda has been placed.
