She was the only child of Peter Kelly Spinks and Mary Alexander Bedell Spinks. She was born in Brandon, Hill Co, TX on a farm. Both of her parents died when she was a toddler so she was raised by her half-brother, Albon Spinks and his wife Nettie Prince Spinks. Lucille went to live with her Aunt Mollie White in Terrell when she was 12 years old and when she was 18, she married William Henry Rollings/Rawlins (called B.D.) They had 5 children together. Charles, Clarence, John Thomas, Jackie and Mary Beth. Lucille had 12 grandchldren and 13 great grandchildren while she was living. She died at the home of her son, Charles in Scroggins, TX. She was an amazing seamstress and taught piano for many years. She worked at Striplings Dept Store in Fort Worth as an interior decorator among many other jobs.
