The funeral of Henry Astor was held from his late home in West Copake Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and altho private, was very largely attended. The Rev. Mr. Randolph and the Rev. Mr. Harris, former pastors of the West Copake church, officiated. The floral tributes were many and exceptionally beautiful. The body was placed in a solid bronze casket.
The bearers were William Dinehart and Henry Dinehart, of Hudson, Adrian Langdon, Ralph Felts, William Dinehart and Garfield Pulver, of West Copake. The interment was made in the family plot in the West Copake cemetery.
