Fred J. Anderson 78, of 126 W. Autum Lane, East Peoria died at 9:50 pm Sunday at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Born Oct 16,1912 in Peoria to John F. and Emma Johnson Anderson, he married Ameila Schuster on Nov 23,1931 in Peoria. Surviving are 2 sons, Alfred D. of Leesburg, Florida & Fred D. of Tampa Florida. 10 grandchildren; and one sister Florence Swords of Peoria. He was precede in death by one daughter , Delore Hoerr and two sisters.
He was a building contractor and a member of Carpenters Local 183 and Faith Lutheran Church in Washington.
Services will be at 11:00am Thursday at Schmidt-Haller Funeral Parlors. The Rev. Karl Otto will Officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral parlor. Burial will be in Fon Du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to his church.
