Barnard - The funeral for W. F. Chambers, 62, Barnard, who died Thursday at St. John's Hospital in Salina, will be at 2 pm Sunday at the United Methodist Church in Tescott, the Rev. Lloyd Gaiser officiating.
Burial will be in Delphos Cemetery with military services.
Chambers was born March 26, 1907, at Tescott. He operated the lumber yard at Barnard for many years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Tescott American Legion.
Survivors include the widow, Lucy, of the home; a son, Larry, Okeechobee, Fla.; 6 stepchildren, Bill, Delphos; Carroll, 1513 Beech, Salina; Mrs. Myrtle Casey, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Nelda Begnoche, Miltonvale; Mrs. June Cooper, Natoma; Mrs. Joan Brown, 2006 Starlight Drive, Salina; 5 sisters, Mrs. Lavina Crider, Tescott; Mrs. Fern Little, Brookville; Mrs. Jone Percival, Tescott; Mrs. Nellie Stelter, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Cora Lee, Tescott; 2 brothers, Clyde, Tescott, and Lee, Wellington, and 21 great - grandchildren.
