Alden Angevine was born in Nova Scotia, July 7, 1875. He came to the States and settled in Greenland Township in the spring of 1883 living there continuously until the fall of 1928, when his family moved to Valley City, moving to Vashon, Washington in January 1931.
Mr. Angevine was united in marriage to Esrella Baertsch January 14, 1904. To this union was born six children, five of whom are now living; Mrs. Charles McKay of this vicinity, James of Vashon, Mildred now Mrs. Wendell Bertsch of Fargo, Alfred and Marjorie of Vashon, Washington. Alden, another son died in 1922 at the age of eleven years. He is also survived by his mother and a sister and a brother, Frank and Mrs. Edna of Darmody, Canada and another sister, Mrs. Chas. McCully of Jamestown and Mrs. Wm. Jones of near Marion. Mr. Angevine's father passed on in 1921.
Mr. Angevine was a member of the Woodman lodge and served many years in various township and school offices in Greenland Township.
Interment will be in the Marion Lake View Cemetery on Friday of this week. Services will be held in the Congregational Church at 1:30, Friday afternoon. Rev. Thomas Nugent of Valley City will officiate.
