James H. Prior
James Henry Prior was born on a farm one mile north of Ada, Kansas, October 2, 1879, to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Prior and died June 29, 1960 at a nursing home in Salina, Kansas. He attended school at Ada, and joined the Methodist church at Ada. He was married to Minnie Jagger Wilson April 5, 1905.
He leaves to mourn his death one brother, John Prior and a sister, Emma Parsons; a step-daughter, Mrs. Madge Bisbey, and other relatives and friends. His youngest brother, Alfred Charles Prior and half-sister, Alice Converse, preceded him in death.
The funeral was held at the Fouts-Haley Funeral Home in Minneapolis July 2, 1960 at 9 a.m., Rev. J. Ralph Watkins officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery at Minneapolis.
Pallbearers were Chas. Wormser, Henry Beichley, Horace McCullick, David McCullick, Harry Parsons and Ralph Maholland. - Information furnished by Cheryl White
