OBITUARY
COPELAND
Matilda R., wife of W.J. Copeland, was born in Tennessee, Feb. 8, 1846, died Feb. 2, 1907, at her home in Hooker, Mo.
Early in life she joined the Methodist church, and she was highly esteemed by those who knew her. Her acquaintance in this county was extensive, her husband having for some time been a merchant here.
Her remains was laid to rest in the Hooker cemetery, where she awaits the resurrection.
We would say to the bereaved: Look up Heavenward, where we shall meet the departed after we pass the cold river of death which separates all earthly ties.
