A funeral service for Clifford Jay Belknap, 79, of Placerville was held Monday at Chapel of the Pines. The Rev. Don O. Herman of the First Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Mr. Belknap died Aug. 28 in Placerville. He was born in California and lived the past 15 years in El Dorado County.
He was an electrician.
Mr. Belknap was a member of the San Juan Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Bodies of Sacramento and Electrician Union 340.
He is survived by wife, Dorthea Belknap of Placerville; daughter Faith Nash of San Jose; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family requests remembrances be sent to the Marshall Hospital building fund.
