SALINA -- Koath E. Beichley, 67, Salina, died Friday, May 17, at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

He was born Dec. 19, 1917, in Ada. He retired in 1974 from his civil service job with the Soil Conservation Service. He had been a resident of Salina for 40 years. He moved to Salina from Lawrence. He belonged to the SCS Retirees and the Antioch Baptist Church, Ada.

He is survived by his wife, Aline of the home; a son, Duane of Placeville, Calif.; a brother Don of Midway City, Calif.; two sisters, Neomi Ethridge of Glasco and Evelyn Bissell of Abilene; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Antioch baptist Church, Ada, the Rev. Maynard Falk officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at Bigge-Moos Chapel Funeral Home.
